BLACK DIAMOND™ XR, .50 CALIBER

T/C’s Black Diamond™ XR (Extended Range) is a longer barrel version of the Black Diamond, a modern style in-line muzzleloading rifle known for its dependability and extreme accuracy.

The Black Diamond™ XR sports a 26" barrel (versus the 22-1/2" barrel for the standard model), which provides optimum burning of magnum charges (150 grains of FFG Black Powder or three 50 grain Pyrodex pellets). This increased efficiency means an extra 200 feet per second in velocity at the muzzle, and reduces bullet drop at 200 yards by three inches.

Like the standard model Black Diamond™, the Black Diamond™ XR comes with three Flame Thrower ignition systems, easily interchangeable at the discretion of the shooter; No. 11 cap, Musket Cap or 209 Shotshell Primer.

T/C’s Flame Thrower ignition systems provide three times the volume of fire than conventional systems provide. 80% of the priming fire is directed into the main powder charge (versus 50% for conventional systems) and the patented design throws a “ring of fire”, reinforcing the main core of fire, into the powder charge. This 300% increase of primer fire makes the Black Diamond™ XR one of the most dependable modern style in-lines there is, even in the most adverse weather conditions.
